I support her because of her position on the gun violence epidemic in the United States. In a country where there are more guns than people and over 350,000 students have experienced gun violence in their schools since Columbine in 1999. She believes in common sense gun legislation that will fix this issue. We cannot and will not let this become a "fact of life" as Donald Trump's Vice-Presidential running mate, JD Vance has stated recently. Vice President Harris oversees the first ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, she is endorsed by Everytown for Gun Safety. Harris and her running mate are fighting for common sense gun safety legislation even as gun owners, because we can support the second amendment while making sure children aren't being killed in their classrooms.
